Small batch
Raspberry Lemon Yogurt Smoothie
Tart raspberries, lemon zest and creamy yogurt make a bright smoothie without added ice. Raspberry seeds remain noticeable in some compact blenders, so expect a little texture.
Ingredients
| Ingredient | Amount |
|---|---|
| Cold milk or unsweetened plant drink | 110ml |
| Fresh raspberries | 75g |
| Plain yogurt | 45g |
| Finely grated lemon zest | A small pinch |
| Honey, optional | Half a teaspoon |
Method
- Wash the raspberries and prepare a small pinch of lemon zest, avoiding the bitter white pith.
- Pour milk into the bottle and add yogurt and raspberries. Stir in zest and optional honey.
- Check the fill mark, secure the lid and blend following the appliance instructions. Stop if fruit fails to move.
- Taste and serve chilled. Keep dairy ingredients refrigerated until needed.
Make it your own: Raspberries have small seeds that may remain in the drink. For a smoother result use a strained raspberry purée, although that changes the amount of fruit fibre retained.

Portable blender notes
Ingredient volumes and density vary. Adjust the quantities downward if necessary for your specific appliance and never exceed its working fill line. Add suitable cold liquid first, prepare fruit into small pieces and check the frozen-fruit and ice precautions before making substitutions. Do not force stalled blades. Follow the Smothie manual for model-specific guidance.

For compact blending, add liquid first and cut firmer ingredients into smaller pieces. If the mixture is too thick to circulate, add a small splash of liquid and blend again.
