Kiwi
Kiwi Pineapple Refresher
A bright, tangy kiwi and pineapple drink with a tropical flavour and a lighter texture than a creamy shake.
Yield: 1 small serving. Ingredient quantities are approximate; check the fill level and adjust to suit your blender.
Ingredients
| Ingredient | Amount |
|---|---|
| Cold water or coconut water | 85ml |
| Ripe kiwi, peeled and chopped | 1 small (about 60g) |
| Fresh pineapple, finely diced | 65g |
| Fresh mint leaves (optional) | 2 small leaves |
| Fresh lime juice (optional) | 1 tsp |

Method
- Add the cold water to the bottle first.
- Add chopped ripe kiwi and small pineapple pieces, then optional lime juice and mint. Stay below the maximum fill line.
- Blend until smooth enough to drink. Stop and adjust if the ingredients struggle to circulate.
- Serve fresh. Kiwi can become bitter if blended excessively, so stop once combined.
Make it your own: For a mellower flavour, omit the lime juice. Chilling the fruit beforehand creates a refreshing result without adding ice. The cubes shown in the image are for serving inspiration; do not blend ice unless your model's manual permits it.
Nutrition notes
Nutrition varies with ingredient brands and portions. This recipe has not been kitchen-tested or nutritionally analysed, so no specific calorie or macronutrient claims are made.
Portable blending notes
Remove tough pineapple core and peel kiwi fully. Use soft, ripe fruit and small pieces that your model can process. Check the instructions for your particular model, stay below its maximum fill line and never force a stalled blend.
